American Turf Flyers Field Rules

All pilots and guests must be current AMA members.

Guest pilots must be accompanied by an ATF member, and have a current AMA card.

Shelter area and tables are not to be used to fuel or start engines under the covered area.

Fuel and start engines on concrete and start-up pads behind the red line or in other designated starting areas only.

Satellite View of the ATF field All aircraft must take off from the runways or designated launch areas “EAST” of the YELLOW line only. All helicopters must launch from the heli-pads located on the North and South end of the runway.

All engine testing and break-in must be performed ‘away’ from the pits at the heli-pads on the North or South end of the runway.

All low level flying shall not be performed in an area that can cause interference with the safe operation of other people flying their models and shall be performed at a safe distance from the other active pilots.

All 3D and Aerobatic flight maneuvers must be performed EAST of the grass runway.

All pilots must attach their current AMA card to their Frequency Pin while flying. This includes; Members, Students, and Guests.

Pilots shall make appropriate announcements when taking off, landing, or in emergency situations.

All aircraft must abide by the current noise policy established by the club.
